Adrian Danchig-Waring Farewell New York Theatre reviews
Father;s Day Funk Fest was a Flop!
The Good: The concert started exactly on time, which is very unusual. All the artists except one were on their game. The music selections met my expectations.
The Bad: Sugarfoot of the Ohio Players should at least attempt to remember the words to his own songs, especially considering the amount of stage time he was given.
The Ugly: Why would the promoters turn the sound off in the venue while Parliament/Funkadelic were performing? What was that all about? And would someone tell me why Bootsy Collins abruptly walked off stage in the middle of his performance along with his dancers?! I really felt like the audience deserved either a rain/check or a partial refund. I listened to several complaints in the lobby near the end of the concert.
